Our rugs

Our rugs are handmade and most are vintage — many are decades old. Signs of age and use, small color variations, uneven edges and repairs are part of their character, and we show them in the photos and description as honestly as we can.

• Sizes are measured by hand and may differ by a few centimeters (about an inch) from the stated size.
• Colors can look slightly different on different screens and in different light.
• Each rug is one of a kind. Once it's sold, it's gone.

Prices

Prices are shown and charged in US dollars and include free shipping. Where a crossed-out price is shown, it is our regular list price for that rug; the lower price is what you pay.

Prices don't include import duties, taxes or customs fees in your country — these are paid by you on delivery (see Shipping & delivery).

Ordering and payment

Your order is confirmed when your payment is approved and you receive our confirmation e-mail. Payments are processed by Stripe; we accept major cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and other methods shown at checkout.

Because every rug is unique, it can very rarely happen that the same rug is bought by two people at almost the same moment, or sold in another channel just before your payment completes. If that happens we refund you in full straight away and let you know.

We may refuse or cancel an order if we suspect fraud, if a price was clearly shown in error, or if we can't ship to your address. In every such case you get a full refund.

Discount codes

Discount codes are personal to the person they were given to, can be used once unless stated otherwise, can't be exchanged for cash and may have an end date or a minimum order.

Shipping and risk

We ship with FedEx as described in Shipping & delivery. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. The rug is your responsibility from the moment it's delivered to you.

Returns

You can return a rug within 14 days of delivery — see Returns & refunds for how it works. This doesn't affect any rights you have under the law of your country.

Our liability

We're responsible for delivering the rug you ordered, as described. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, except where the law doesn't allow that limit. We aren't responsible for delays caused by things outside our control, such as customs, strikes, extreme weather or carrier problems.

Content and use of the site

The photos, texts and designs on this site belong to RugsKilim. Please don't copy them for commercial use without our permission.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in. If something goes wrong, please write to us first — most problems are solved with one e-mail.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown when you place your order is the one that applies to that order.
